If your current workload includes concrete work, you’re in luck.

There’s a new, slick gadget available. It’s a wedged plastic drum that takes the fight out of mixing sacked concrete. Just put a 60-pound bag of dry concrete mix into the drum, and use the specially designed lid to measure in the correct amount water. Lock the lid in place, turn the barrel on its side and rock and roll it back and forth for 30 seconds. An 80-pound bag takes a little longer — about 60 seconds. Then stand it up, open the lid and view your blended project-to-be.

This mixing barrel is a new secret weapon designed to let amateurs do concrete work quickly, easily and with little effort — like seasoned pros who’ve been at it for years. So go ahead; tackle that job you’ve been putting off.
