Battery ?Power? Test

Christmas is over, and now for your toys Batteries are needed for all girls and boys. So, which ones are best? And which passed our test? Today, you'll learn some batteries last longer than others For fathers and sons -- and daughters and mothers. To determine which are best for you, we loaded leading brands of disposable alkaline Double-A and D-cell batteries into toy trains, various flashlights and portable CD players. We ran each one continuously until each battery was totally drained. In the models and products we tested, two brands lasted the longest: In CD players and smaller flashlights, Energizer Max Double-A?s were tops. As for powering up our toy trains -- Duracell Copper-top Double-A?s chugged longest. For heavy-duty emergency lanterns, Duracell Copper-top D-cells made the grade.
