Electric outlets in eaves

A few new outlets could help with Christmas house lights. Here's how: If you're building a new home or adding a room to your present one, consider adding outdoor electrical outlets under the edge of your roof-- in the eaves. When they're strategically placed at all corners, over doors and above key windows, they make it easy to plug in holiday lights, without running endless extension cords. Hinge-covered outdoor outlets make putting up lights a snap -- and taking them down just as easy and fast. With a few new eave plugs here and there, you'll be holiday stylin'. And that's the On The House Tip for today.
