Paint Can-tainers

Got some old, half-empty paint cans in your garage? Are they hard to open, a mess to pour, tough to close and to store? Well, things just got a whole lot better for all us amateur painters: new easy twist-and-pour paint containers. We first saw these newfangled paint containers at a hardware show in Chicago. They are totally square, lightweight and durable plastic cubes with a molded built-in exterior handle and a large twist-off cap on top. The cap eliminates lid prying and resealing. A built-in spout allows for easier controlled pouring. The sensible square design eliminates the wasted space of round cans, and the bottom indentation is designed to fit snugly over the lid below. That permits multiple stacking -- safely and securely. And that's the On The House tip for today.
