Air Conditioner Tune-up

At 5:10 p.m. Eastern Time today, the precise halfway point of summer occurs. Forty-seven days, 7 hours, and 46 minutes will have passed and the same amount of time will be left until September 23rd, which is the official end of summer. What does this mean? Because there is still plenty of summer heat ahead, it's time for a mid-summer air-conditioner tune-up. There are two important things to do that'll help keep your summer cool. The first is to change the filter, which should be done about every 60 days during cooling season or at the beginning, middle and end of summer. With today being the middle -- it's time! The other important thing to do on a regular basis is to check the condensation drain line to make sure it's running freely. With brand-new filters in place, air circulates better. And keeping drain lines clear will run off the condensation it produces, without making a mess. And that's the On The House Tip for today.
