Kiddie Hieroglyphics Eraser

Got a budding little artist at your house who draws on walls? Today you'll learn how to erase kiddie wall art. Here's a trick we tested, reluctantly I might add, on our own walls at home. With our skeptical wives looking on, we scribbled away with magic markers and the popular black Sharpie pens -- knowing the consequences should we be wrong. We then took an aerosol can of hair spray and -- with hearts pounding -- sprayed the scribbles. Then we waited. Within moments, the marks began to fade away. With a few more spritzes and gentle blots and wipes -- to our amazement -- the marks were gone. Remember to work gently, as rubbing too hard can remove paint, as well as the kiddie hieroglyphics. Thank goodness our hair-spray trick was successful. It paved the way for our next trick -- patching holes in drywall with toothpaste. And that's the On The House tip for today.
