Steel Door Dent Repair

Got a nasty dent in your steel door from playful kids or an overzealous "prize patrol?" If so, we have the answer. If you have a dent in a steel door, you'll find what you need at the auto supply store. That's because auto fender benders are the key to steel-door dent enders. First, remove the door and lay it flat. Then buy some auto-body filler like Bondo and fill in the dent or crease according to the directions. After it dries, sand lightly to level the surface and dull the rest of the door with fine sandpaper. Then wipe clean and apply a full coat of new paint. Let it dry thoroughly before you hang it up again. And that's the On The House tip for today.
