Noodlehead Sprinkler

It's silly looking and has a silly name, but it is, indeed, a clever concept. Today you'll learn how the "noodlehead" sprinkler lets you customize watering for your lawn. The "noodlehead" has 12 flexible 6-inch tubes that you can bend to direct the water spray exactly where you want it -- and away from where you don't. Looking a little like a wacky octopus, it allows you to create a customized watering pattern that meets the specific needs of your home and lawn. With the noodlehead, you can avoid wetting driveways, sidewalks and the house, while getting water precisely where it's needed most. Optional "extenda-tubes" boost the "avoidance" ratio -- shooting water up and over bushes and shrubs to place it just where it's wanted. Noodlehead sells for about $20. And that's the On The House tip for today.
