When Granny Clampett moved to Beverly Hills she brought along a refreshing simplicity she applied to her house-cleaning. We believe in simplicity, too. Over the years we've given many cleaning tips using regular non-toxic items found in the home. The Clampetts used just a few kitchen basics. So "without further adieu let us pass these items on to you." Basically, there are four that power many of our home-brew cleaners. They are baking soda (for its foaming, mildly abrasive action), white vinegar (for its 5-percent acidity that cuts right through dirt and grime), lemon juice (which next to vinegar is our No.1 favorite for cleaning and freshening) and common table salt (for its mild abrasiveness and absorbency.) We know of many ways to use these items and have countless formulas for cleaners that'll keep you from rushing off to the grocery store. So give them a try.
