Damaged Vinyl Floor?

"Jeopardy" premiered on TV on this day in 1964. Since that day, its original host Art Fleming and, more recently, Alex Trebec gave the answers while contestants supplied the questions. With this in mind, let's play "Flooring Jeopardy." The answer is "vinyl seam sealer." Your answer must be in the form of a question. "How do you repair small cuts and tears in a vinyl sheet goods floor?" That's right! Vinyl seam-sealer acts as a chemical weld. Even though it's normally used on large areas for long seams and joints, applying it to small cuts and tears before they have a chance to open up even more means they can be smoothed down to hide the damage. There's no question about it. A quick fix with seam-sealer is the right answer for little cuts and tears. You win! And that's the On The House tip for today.
