Today's a super-duper big shopping day for those getting their Christmas gift-shopping underway. If you've got a handyman on your Christmas list, here's a great gift idea that just can't miss. It's "head" lights. When they're in your plan you not only light up their life, you free up their hands, as well. Here's how and why. If your handyman or handy gal is always crawling into and under places and working in dark and/or cramped spaces, you've probably seen him or her hold a flashlight in the mouth. Or (like an earlier tip suggested), they stood it on end in an empty tin can. There's still a better way: "head" lights -- two small battery-operated lights on a headband. They shine where one looks and free up one's hands. Every toolbox (and craftsman) needs a pair. You'll find they're a well-spent $20 that any do-it-yourselfer is sure to love. Where to find them -- at your local hardware store. Ho-ho-ho shoppers. And that's the On The House tip for today.
