Stuck Like Glue? What To Do!

There are many degrees of sticky situations. On this day in 1962, JFK dealt with the Cuban missile crisis. Most of our "sticky" situations are far smaller in scope. For example, when it’s hot and humid and your postage stamps start sticking together, don’t throw them out. Put them in the freezer instead. They will come apart easily. Got a roll of tape that's lost its zip? Whether it's masking tape or black electrical tape, heat will bring it back and restore its holding power. Just warm it with a hair dryer or put it in the microwave oven on 50-percent power for a minute or two, testing often to avoid meltdown. When photographs stick together face to face, soak them in warm water and they’ll float apart. And that's the On The House tip for today.
