Heavy Lifting? Hello Dolly!

If you have a heavy load to move that is big, bulky and awkward, don't risk a back injury. There are simple solutions close at hand. If you have kids, you probably have a wagon. They're good for hauling trash, tools and gardening utensils. If you are moving sheetrock, plywood or paneling, grab a skateboard. Then, tie on a towel or piece of carpet or clamp on a few L-shaped brackets; stand and hold your sheet goods on edge and roll them into place. If you donít have kids, buy a low-cost metal dolly or make one with 3/4-inch plywood and swivel casters. And that's the On The House tip for today.
