Ladder Socks

"The Jeffersons" premiered on this day in 1975. In the first episode, George and Weezy moved into a new and better home. If you've got a new home or one you want to keep looking new, here's a tip of must-have cover-ups for feet. We're referring to ladder feet, not your tootsies. When you're doing outside chores like cleaning gutters, caulking, painting or making inspections, moving a ladder around the house, especially an aluminu ladder, leaves unsightly marks. A simple solution is put an old sock over the top of each side rail on your ladder. This will prevent scrapes, scuffs and dents, and will create a softer landing where you lean it. And for once it won't matter if your socks match. And that's the On The House tip for today.
