Two hundred years ago the famous Rosetta Stone was discovered. It was the key to deciphering hieroglyphics; it enabled us to read messages from ancient Egyptians carved into the walls of the pyramids. You can leave messages in your walls, too. The next time you paint a room in your home, write down everything about the paint you're using: the brand name, color used on walls and the same for the trim and ceilings. Also any other special information like where you bought it and its cost. Then fold it into a small square, write "paint info" on it and tape it onto the backside of a wall switchplate. Years later, when it's time to paint again, you'll be all set. And that's the On The House tip for today.
