Tip of the Day

Here's Looking at You, Kid

Today's "George Spelvin Day." George was an actor "of sorts" -- born in New York on this day in 1885. "George Spelvin" is used in playbills to conceal that an actor's playing two roles. The name's been used ever since to indicate someone's doing double duty. Here's a "George Spelvin" idea for your car. You can do double duty every time you pull your car in and out of your garage. Just mount two small mirrors near the front and rear of the car, angled, so you can see your headlights and tail-lights every time you pull in or out. That way, you can always check to see if your lights are working properly. And that's the On The House tip for today.
