Lawn Sprinkler Systems

In 1872, Henry Parmelee grew tired of hand-watering his lawn, and thus invented the first auto sprinkler head. He was granted a patent in 1874. Ever since, man has enjoyed golfing and napping and watching sports while lawns are watered and kept green. It's time to let built-in sprinkler systems start doing the work for you. The biggest cost of installing one is labor. Doing it yourself saves big bucks. Most dealers offer free planning services and layouts to show where each sprinkler head goes and what type to use for that specific area. Dealers also tell what water pressure is needed and what permits are required; also what depth to install your pipes. PVC plastic pipe is inexpensive and easy to install. By adding an automatic timer, you just get it, set it and forget it. And that's the On The House tip for today.
