Tools -- The Perfect Gift

June's a big month for walking down the aisle. Some will be brides and grooms; others will be graduates at various levels. So, you soon might be shopping for just the right wedding or graduation gift. Here's an idea that's often overlooked. Young people just setting up their very first home, whether a house, apartment or dorm room, usually don't have even the most basic tools to handle simple repairs and adjustments. If you've got a new homeowner or renter to buy for, tools will be a welcome gift. Select either a simple starter set with assorted screwdrivers, pliers and a hammer or put one together yourself based on your experience and the recipient's ability. Either way, don't forget a toolbox and a few good idea add-ons such as a tape measure. Give it some thought, and you're sure to come up with some great ideas of your own. And that's the On The House tip for today.
