The first thing you want to remember when you are out there making a glass cut under pressure is three words, swoosh, snap and run. Make a perfectly clean and fast motion with your glasscutter (swoosh), and then carefully apply downward pressure to break the glass (snap)-- letting the break run the length of the score. Practice makes perfect and you don't need a lot of pressure. Move like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Before you know it you'll be making wiggles and curves. Is it a skill worth learning? You bet. It's clearly an art. And that's the On The House tip for today.
