Got a flower pot with a bottom that isn't quite flat? Does it rock back and forth?no matter where it's at? Perhaps you have an expensive vase or hand-made planter that has the same problem. If so, here's how to make any not-quite-flat-bottomed item sit flat on the floor or table top, and to prevent scratching and slipping to boot! From deep within the Carey Brothers vault of making self-leveling feet, we bring a simple trick that's easy and neat! Indeed, says here: to level ?not-quite flat? bottomed flower pots and vases, just turn them upside down and apply four (or more) generous blobs of silicone caulk around the bottom. Let them set until they're almost dry; then place waxed paper on the table or floor right where the vase or flower pot will sit. Flip the pot over and carefully set it into position on top of the waxed paper. When the silicone caulk is fully cured, remove the waxed paper, and presto steady-o... your wobbly problem will be cured too!
