How to Find Wall Studs ? 2

One of the first movie cowboys was Tom Mix, and when trouble was brewin?, all he had to do was whistle, and his trusty stud stallion Tony came a-runnin?! If you need a stud too (a wall stud, that is!) because you're puttin? up shelves, a towel bar, or a heavy mirror, you need to know your ?back-up? is there before you install anything. Yesterday, we noted six ways to find a stud... from hi-tech gadgets to wall tappin? (thud... thud.) Today you'll learn still another way... in "son of stud finder" part two! Indeed, this one calls for an electric razor. Just turn it on and move it along (like you're "shaving" the wall.) When you pass over a stud, the sound will change from a hollow humming to an up-front buzzing! Find one stud, and others will be 16 or 24 inches away. Now you've got seven ways to find a stud! In cowboy lingo (and with the Carey brothers) that's the "magnificent seven"!
