Annual Holiday Toast

'Twas the week before Christmas, and in everyone's house, Families were busy, quickly moving about. Mommas were cooking; Daddies making repairs. Little girls vacuumed, while boys swept the stairs. Working day after day, and well into the night Making sure all was cheery, merry and bright. There were baubles, bangles and Christmas tree lights, And a star on the top reached to dizzying heights. There was mistletoe, candy and presents for all, And a crackling fire warmed the room -- wall to wall. Christmas will soon be here. With all said and done And, the time to relax. So get ready for fun! Uncle Charlie soon will be ringing the bell, And Aunt Jane will be here with stories to tell. And, with thanks to our friends for all of your tips That all through the year helped clean up and fix. ?On the House? listeners settle down with delight. For the best Christmas ever and a most special night. Happy holidays, everybody!
