Cold-weather Window Cleaner

On this date in 1983 Bill Gates released Microsoft Windows for computers and cleaned up big-time. If cold weather has your windows looking not so clean, here's a trick or two to see you through. When it's warm outside, a little white vinegar or 2 tablespoons of alcohol in 16 ounces of warm water will get the job done. But when temperatures start to drop, to enhance cold-weather cleaning and boost your sparkle, add 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol to 16 ounces of warm water; then add 1 teaspoon of corn starch for a super-duper cold-weather cleaner. And that's the On The House tip for today.
