How to undo calk and glue

The “New” Newhart show featuring Bob as the author of “How to” books, debuted this day in 1982. Bob owned a bed and breakfast Inn, and employed three “oddball” nit-wit handymen brothers, called Larry, Darryl and Darryl. One day the trio was busy through out old tubes of glue and caulk, passing by Bob took note and realized they stood to waste a lot of money. The tips had all dried up and the glue and caulk was deemed unusable. Here’s a “How To” tip Bob would like: split both sides of the tip of glue or caulk with a utility knife and gently pulled them apart. Then remove the dried mass and push it back together, and wrap the tip with duct tape. Now you are good to go.
