Raking ergonomically

Got a “perpetual” yard full of leaves that requires raking over and over again? Today you’ll learn how to ease the strain with an “upgraded” handle for your rake. Here’s how: From deep within the Cary Brothers vault of “getting a handle on things, the Ergonomic “Answer” is what we bring, indeed. Says here, when raking becomes a tiresome chore and leaves your arms feeling sore, here’s an easy rake handle “upgrade” that will relive the stress while you rake up the leafy mess. Just slide a one and a quarter inch PVC pipe “tee” on to a comfortable position, about a third of the way down should do, and secure it in place with a screw or two. Then glue in a five-inch section of PVC pipe straight up or out to the side (your choice). Then finish it off, by adding a PVC “Pipe Cap” on top. When you’re done, you’ll have a “ninety-degree” angle handle that lets you rake with a straight wrist and fatigue-free!
