Sealing Air ducts

Hey bro, can you give me a hand with sealing these ducts? Oh, you’ve got air leaks, I’ll go get the duct tape. Not so fast, remember what we saw at the hardware store last week? Yeah, that shiny new tape and the sealer goo. Remember that duct tape you put on last year? Sure do, it did the trick! Not really, it dried out and all came loose and had to be done all over again. How about that new foil tape, with the peel-off backing we saw? That would do much better, or come to think about it that can of duct mastic we saw would be good too. In fact it would be the best choice! It forms a lasting seal anywhere two pieces of duct come together.
