Screen (Time) Savers

When it's time for switching storm windows for screens and vice-versa, don't dig through a pile wondering what's what. To eliminate confusion and save time when you exchange screens and storm windows in the fall and spring, create a marking system to tell what goes with what. Use numbers, letters or color-coded dots on window sashes and screens and storms. It's easy to do and saves lots of time. And that's the On The House tip for today.
