Tip of the Day

Mission: Im-Pot-able

Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Homeowner. Your mission -- should you decide to accept it -- is to quickly eliminate pot and pan clutter, and to increase kitchen efficiency by building or buying and installing a hanging pot rack in a secure location. The photos you see illustrate proper installation -- with four hooks installed into ceiling joists for maximum support. They have chains hung straight down and all links are counted to ensure equal lengths. Once secured, you can lift the rack into place and begin deploying your arsenal of pots, pans and skillets around the perimeter. Lids can be cleverly concealed in a hidden drop site -- in a separate location in a cabinet or inside a drawer, or on a wire rack on the inner face of a cupboard door. As always, should it loosen or fall, we will disavow any knowledge of your actions. You have your orders. Be advised this tape will self-destruct in exactly 3 seconds. Good day Mr. and Mrs. Homeowner and good luck. And that's the On The House tip for today.
