Weather-strip for Sound

On this day in 1948 Chuck Yeager flew faster than the speed of sound. Think that sounds like a good way to avoid noise that's seeping in and keeping you awake. You don't have to go to such lengths, however. A lot of noise comes into the home through cracks around windows and doors. The same weather-stripping that stops cold air and drafts also blocks out noise. So, picking up some weather-stripping and installing it can quiet things down at your house and let you get 40 winks.
