Solid-core Siding Update

In past years, siding options included wood, fiberboard, aluminum, vinyl and fiber cement. A few years ago, solid-core siding was introduced at a builders' show in Atlanta. It was an immediate hit — for a number of reasons: Solid-core is a hybrid product that combines the best of both vinyl and fiber-cement. But it doesn't stop there. Add the energy-saving benefits of a thick and rigid foam-core panel backing, and the result is strength, durability and high energy-efficiency. All of that is below the surface. Solid-core also offers deep, rich profiles, and even straightens dips and bumps in walls. If that's not enough, it takes low maintenance to new heights — to no maintenance!
