Redecorate with Light

Ever notice how great things look in stores? Now you can have that same look at home. It's often due to Neodymium, a new kind of full-spectrum light bulb used by many retailers. Neodymium is a rare earth element imbedded in glass to filter out yellow and brown portions of the spectrum to which eyes are very sensitive. Many stores use Neodymium lighting because, much like natural sunlight, it adds vibrancy, contrast and style to many things—from furniture and rugs to clothing and artwork. These bulbs are now sold for home use, too. They'll bring ho-hum rooms to life, and they produce crisp and clean natural illumination. They are available in many types and styles, from compact fluorescent to incandescent.
