Ever put a decal on glass and have it stick too quickly -- and not be straight? End decal frustration by using our slip-and-slide application. Here's a trick we learned from a guy who installs big sheets of window film. It explains how they get those super-sized films flat and smooth -- and right where they want them, without bubbles, wrinkles or waste. Put a few drops of liquid dish detergent in a spray bottle and fill the bottle with water. Wet down the film (or decal) and the area where it is to be applied; put the item in place; and slide it around until it's just right. Once it's in position, squeegee the surface, and it'll stick in place. This works to position anything with a sticky back on almost any surface. Contact paper in drawers and non-skid decals on tubs are a couple of examples.
