Tip of the Day

Fog-free Mirror Goof-up

Albert Einstein was born on this day in 1879. As smart as he was, he, like the rest of us do, occasionally made dumb mistakes. A friend of ours recently bought a fog-free mirror -- the type one uses in the shower. When he first peered into it, however, he saw a foggy version of himself. He lived with the blurry image until one day when his wife noticed a tiny crack running along one edge of the glass. Was it broken? Running her finger across it, she discovered the "crack" was a protective film. Once she peeled it off, the fog-free mirror my now-contrite friend had sought finally was revealed.
