Plastic Diffuser Panels

Are you updating the ceiling in your kitchen or bath? Replacing the fluorescent ceiling light panels with modern recessed dimmable can lights? If so, don't discard the old plastic diffuser panels. They've got plenty of other uses. They make liners for wooden shelving, especially in storage areas such as the garage or attic. Heavy boxes will slide on and off more easily and won't tear up or wear down edges. They also can serve as drip-catchers under autos. That keeps garage floors clean. They can be easily removed, cleaned and/or replaced. Cut them down to fit various windows, such as in rear doors or in garages where they can be drilled and hung to block line of sight while still admitting light. That's three ways of recycling. With a little creative thinking, you'll come up with even more.
