When Appliances Act Up

Do you have an appliance that acts up and won't work at times? It emits mysterious noises, and then works fine when the repairman shows up? It happens to everyone. When an appliance starts acting up (this goes for electronic products, too) you can document the problem you're having, and make it easier to explain, by keeping a camera or tape recorder handy. When it starts malfunctioning, simply document the problem with pictures and sound.
