One-Switch Shop Trick

Got a project underway that requires turning multiple switches on and off time after time in your workshop? For instance, measuring trim, then heading for the shop, where you turn on the bench work light, plug in the shop vacuum, flip its switch, plug in the miter saw and turn it on...all to make just one quick cut? You then reverse the process until the next cut. Sound familiar (and extremely redundant?) Today you'll learn how one switch can do the trick and get things ?up and running? super-quick. All you need is a simple six-outlet power strip with an on-and-off switch and key holes on the back. Mount it on your workbench, plug it in, and, with the power switched off, plug in your work light, shop vac, and miter saw, along with whatever else (like a sander or a rotary tool) you need. Then, when it's time for another cut, just switch on the power strip, fire up the saw, make your cut, then switch the strip off again!
