Home Office/Home Theater Clutter

One in three households now has home theater, there are ten million home-based businesses, and millions more have home offices. They all have lots of wiring and lots of wire clutter. However, messy wires don't have to be a way of life, or even in sight! A clever use of molding on walls and baseboards both looks sharp and gets wire clutter under control. Basically, you have two choices. First are pre-engineered channel systems that "look" like conventional baseboard or stylish wall or crown molding, and that snaps on and off or opens up to route scads of "spaghetti" wiring to and from a power source with nary a cord or cable in sight to add or remove wires with ease as needed. Your second choice? Take a page out of their book and modify existing trim, or add new molding with cables and wiring hidden "inside" and out of view. Choose one or the other and you'll trim down wire clutter!
