Tip of the Day

Smile! You're on FloodCam

In 1953, home security took a giant leap forward when the first motion sensor alarm was patented. Soon low-cost outdoor motion-detector lighting became available, too. Another new era of security was ushered in with the arrival of low-cost video monitors for home use. Now security has again risen to a new level -- with the introduction of FloodCam with a motion sensor that controls flood lights and a built-in video camera. When activated, the wireless camera sends video images to the unit's indoor receiver, which is hooked up to your TV, PC or VCR. It can be programmed to activate at all times of day, or at night only. And, you select which functions you want. The cost is just over $100. And that's the On The House Tip for today.
