name opened with George C. Scott delivering his famous World War II speech. No handyman ever tackles a job without tools. Such folks get the job done by having what they need -- where they need it, when they want it. Seasoned workshop veterans know that that means no mess or clutter. One of your most versatile field tools is the elastic or rubber bungee cord used to tie down, bundle and/or secure all sorts of things. But these weapons won't do you a bit of good if they're a big tangled mess. The answer: store them on a length of PVC pipe, slightly longer than your bungee cords. Then hook both ends on the pipe.
