Picture perfect hanging

Today is Art Carney's birthday. Carney played Norton on TV's "The Honeymooners." In one episode, Ralph was trying to hang a large painting, but he couldn't see or find the tiny wall hook. After minutes of Ralph's trying to catch the support wire across the back on the hook, Norton stopped by. "Hey, Ralphie, whatcha doin'? Hangin' a picture? Ralph asked Norton for some help and Norton, in turn, asked for a drinking straw. A bewildered and disgruntled Ralph finally complied. Norton cut the straw in half and put it over the small hook, so that it extended out from the wall. Two of them then lifted the frame and easily located the straw. They slid the wire down to the hook. Reaching behind and removing the straw, Norton asked, "Waddya call this painting?" "Dogs Playing Poker," Ralph proudly replied. "Alice is gonna love it," Norton gushed. And that's the On The House Tip for today.
