Gardening for kids

Gardening is a great pastime; it's said to be psychologically good for you. It's not only good for you, it's great for your kids, too. Kids and gardening are a natural combination since dirt and water are in play. Let the kids help when you garden; allow them to plant. You may sow the seeds of a lifelong hobby. Here are a few ideas: Give kids their very own outdoor plot or indoor pot and mark it with their name. Choose kid-friendly, easy-to-grow plants and vegetables that make it fun for them. Leave a little room for failure, too -- a wilted flower teaches the importance of care. And that's the On The House Tip for today.
