But children love to run and play, and sometimes things get in the way of safety. To provide a safe environment for little ones, it's important to fully childproof your home. First cushion all sharp corners, add special kid locks to doors, drawers and cabinets, and kid-proof latches on all kitchen appliances. Don't forget locks for bi-fold doors and toilet lids, too.
