Quietly tucked in among bubbling whirlpool tubs and on gleaming walls of marble and granite was a product that until recently was considered no more than a snooty luxury import from Europe -- made for the rich and famous. But lo and behold, today, towel warmers are everywhere, and in many forms. From over-the-door models to huge wall mounts, either hard-wired or plug-in. And styling has gone posh, ranging from traditional hotel-looking chrome bars to ultramodern sleek frames, fit for the stars. To our surprise, they're selling like hot cakes. Beyond the obvious reason -- a toasty warm towel -- these warmers now feature a bonus; they speed-dry a damp towel as well. And that's the On The House tip for today.
