Tip of the Day

What's Up?

"The Rookies" premiered on TV this day in 1972. It featured three young police recruits -- Willis Gates, Terry Webster and Mike Danko. While they were good at solving crimes, they would have had to stand on each other's shoulders to solve the mystery of what was on the top shelf of many kitchen cabinets in many homes. If this sounds familiar, and you have trouble seeing what's in those high-up cabinets, here's help. From deep within the Carey Brothers' vault of lofty images, we reflect upon the easy answer. If you have trouble seeing what's on those topmost shelves, just glue a self-stick mirror tile inside the top and on the underside of the highest shelves. It will reflect and bring what's way in back up to the front. Even if you're only five-foot-two, mirrors above those high-up storage places will bring the deepest, darkest corners into view. And that's the On The House tip for today.
