New Glue Super-Star

Today is Elvis Presley's birthday. Ever since his first record in 1954, his "stick-to-it-tive-ness" as a recording superstar has been legend. Another emerging superstar in the world of sticking is polyurethane glue. It has a long-lasting, super-holding power second to none. Far beyond simple yellow and white wood glues and far up the adhesive "glue chain" of 2-part epoxy glue kits and hybrid high-tech blends, polyurethane glue is just now becoming available. It looks and flows a bit like honey and does a honey of a job of holding darn near anything together with incredible strength. It's waterproof, can be used indoors or out, and while expensive, it simply is the best you can get. Need long-lasting super-holding power? Check out the new glue superstar -- polyurethane. And here's a little known fact: Elvis?s first guitar, a birthday present from his parents when he was only 10 years old, was purchased in a hardware store in Tupelo, Mississippi. No glue connection here -- just thought you?d like to know. And that's the On The House tip for today.
