Dropped A Small Part?

The "Murphy Brown Show," starring Candace Bergen, made its debut on this day in 1988, but after a decade of topical humor, both the show and Ms. Bergen's part were dropped. How about you? Ever dropped a part? A teeny-weeny something somewhere on the floor, and you just know it's gone forever? Here's how to find it easily and quickly. First turn off the lights. If it's daytime, draw the blinds, too. Once it's dark, turn on a flashlight and lay it down on the floor near where you think the elusive part might be. Slowly rotate it in a circle allowing the beam to sweep across the floor like a searchlight. When it crosses the lost part, the missing item will cast a long and large shadow, making it easy to find. And that's the On The House tip for today.
