If you are up to something this weekend, like sprucing up with cans of spray paint, you might be out of luck if you haven't used the spray cans recently. The nozzles might have become clogged. But don't too be quick to toss them or to buy new ones. The paint inside probably is fine. It's most likely just the tip that's sealed shut. Remove it, and try clearing the nozzle with a pin. Never try this while it's still on the can. If it doesn't work, soak it overnight in whatever solution the manufacturer suggests to clean or remove this type of paint. If it still doesn't work, hardware stores sell standard replacement tips. Want to be one step ahead? Next time you empty a can of spray paint, turn it upside down, give it a blast (to clear the nozzle) then remove it, and save it for use on another can some day. And that's the On The House tip for today.
