Tip of the Day

The Smell of Paint (That Ain't)

Painter Leonardo Da Vinci is credited with inventing the scissors. Today, it's widely available in interior paints and soon will be offered for exterior latex, as well. To reduce the smell of fresh latex paint, whether inside or out, add a few drops of vanilla extract; your project will smell sweeter. The only problem is you might have an overwhelming desire for cookies. And that's the On The House tip for today.
