'Twas the week of Christmas, and in everyone's house, every family was busy -- quickly moving about. Mommas were cooking, daddies making repairs, little girls vacuumed while boys swept the stairs. They worked day after day, and well into the nights, to make sure that each house was all cheery and bright. There were baubles and bangles and christmas tree lights, and a star on the top reached to dizzying heights. There was mistletoe, candy and presents for all, and crackling fires warmed the rooms -- wall-to-wall. Finally -- when it was all said and done -- it was time to relax and get ready for fun. Uncle Charlie would soon be ringing the bell and Aunt Jane would be there with stories to tell. With thanks to our friends for their tips through the year that helped us to clean up and get things in gear. Every "On the House" listener settles down with delight for the best Christmas ever on this most special night. Happy Holidays everybody!
