Replace Bulbs with Fluorescents

How would you like to see better, be cool and save money all at the same time? We are talking about the new breed of fluorescent lights designed to replace old-fashioned, hot, energy-wasting, inefficient incandescent bulbs. The new fluorescents screw in where any old type bulb fits. They use about 20 percent less energy, and give about 15 percent more light. They burn longer and cooler than incandescent lights. Although they cost about three times more, they last 10 times longer. What's not to love? And that's the On The House tip for today.
